GOOD SNIFF
4.45PM
Fueled by high energy and adolescent angst, Bellarine Peninsula bass-and-drum duo Good Sniff are carving a loud, defiant path through Australia’s alt-rock scene. Made up of Lachie Brown (drums, lead vocals) and Elias Hodson (bass, backing vocals), the pair have earned their stripes supporting some of the country’s biggest names — including Skegss, Ruby Fields, Old Mervs, The Grogans, Surf Trash, andCivic — as well as international acts like Wavves (USA) and Sun Room (USA).
After dropping their sophomore album in June 2024, Good Sniff wasted no time, returning in 2025 with a brand-new four-track EP. Always restless, the band thrives on reinvention, constantly evolving their sound to keep listeners guessing. That’s It, Tiger is their latest sonic left turn — raw, razor-sharp, and undeniably punchy. With songwriting that nods to the intensity of Turnstile and the grit of early Foo Fighters, this EP is another bold step forward.
XANDRI
4.00PM
From Naarm (Melbourne, Australia), XANDRI (they/she) is your next Pop Princess. At just 21, the queer singer-songwriter is already carving out a reputation for transforming raw, personal experiences into songs that connect deeply with listeners. Having left home young and defied expectations, their music reflects both the weight of loss and the strength of self-determination, always anchored by honest, vulnerable lyricism.
Since their first gig in late 2023, XANDRI has played over 25 shows both solo and with her band. She released two singles in the past year that have drawn thousands of streams, and is preparing their debut EP: a bold and heartfelt body of work that invites listeners to feel the stories as much as hear them.
VIOLET
3.15PM
Violet is Harry Jones (Vocals, Lead Guitar), Wanda Dohl (Drums), and James Elliott (Bass). A three piece alternative rock band hailing from the lovely Geelong, Victoria; they bring together influences of Jeff Buckley, Arctic Monkeys, and Radiohead with a slight hint of Foo Fighters to create a unique blend of tasteful indie and alternative rock with just the right amount of distortion.
Formed in early 2021 at the request of their high school’s music teacher, Violet quickly hit the local Geelong music scene where they have continued to develop their sound and musicality before achieving headline slots at some of Melbourne and Geelong’s most iconic venues such as the Barwon Club, the Tote, the Gasometer, and Cherry Bar whilst also supporting wonderfully talented bands such as Good Sniff, BEANS, Krave, DICE and Rat!Hammock.
In 2022, they released their first single ‘Hourglass’ , a mix of blues and alternative rock with a steady kick drum that will keep you tapping along. Following this, they released three more singles with one in 2023 and two in 2024 with only more to come.
You can go listen to their latest single, ‘While you wait’ on all streaming services now.
